Cranial massage is applied to the skull, face, neck and shoulders and is specially aimed at reducing the tension of these areas and eliminating the pain and discomfort it can cause.
Cervical tension is very common. There are several factors that often cause increased tension in the muscles of the cervicodorsal area, the scapular waist and in the fascias in the area:
- · Stress.
- · Inadequate postures before the computer, when studying or when sleeping.
- · Carry too much weight on your shoulders.
- · Some sudden movements.
This accumulated tension generates compression of the blood vessels in the area, causing tension headaches, drowsiness, various types of neuralgia, feeling tired, visual fatigue, mental fatigue, bruxism, dizziness and loss of balance, and may affect even mood.
